About Anna Lyander
Dr. Anna Lyander is the Head of Unit at Clinical Genomics SciLifeLab, Karolinska Institutet, in Stockholm. The Clinical Genomics Stockholm unit offers research infrastructure tailored for projects using next-generation sequencing technologies.
Collaborating closely with the Swedish healthcare system, the unit facilitates the integration of genomics tools into standard clinical practices. This collaboration extends to clinical diagnostic laboratories and managing physicians. Furthermore, the unit seeks to bolster public health microbiology’s capabilities in monitoring infectious diseases and preparing for potential epidemics.
