The KAPA RNA EvoPrep Kit is designed for both manual and automated NGS library construction from 0.25 – 100 ng of purified total, mRNA-enriched, or rRNA-depleted RNA. This workflow is compatible with both high- and low-quality (e.g., extracted from FFPE tissue) RNA.
The protocol is applicable to a wide range of RNA-Seq applications, including:
- gene expression analysis;
- single nucleotide variation (SNV) discovery;
- splice junction and gene fusion identification; and
- characterization of both polyadenylated and non-polyadenylated RNAs, including noncoding and immature RNAs.
This kit has not been tested with small RNAs < 100 bp in length.
